Trusted Business Support Partner | Collaborative Project Management

Having someone in your corner can change the game

The other day, I was asked what it meant to be a business support partner. Here’s what I said…

For me, being a business support partner is about true teamwork and real collaboration. It's about creating a seamless flow of productivity where each of us plays our part to keep the project moving forward. My aim is to remove 90% of the work from my clients’ plates so they can focus on doing what they do best.

More often than not, I’m concentrated on strategy, logistics, and asset building, which gives them more time to serve their customers, deliver their products and services, and dive into areas of growth for their business.

Take my current project with a local dance school, for instance. My client wants to grow the business, taking on new teachers and appealing to a new audience, but she can’t do that because her onboarding process is manual.

Our ultimate goal is to automate her inquiries, streamlining her entire process to make it more efficient. The problem is that the software she’s using isn’t capable of automating this.

After exploring various options, we realised that the best approach was to rebuild the website using new software.

My client has been a dance teacher for over 30 years. Building websites is NOT what she does best… in fact, she hates even the thought of having to do it and not knowing how to begin creating an automated process was stressing her out!

That’s why I’m handling the entire build. All she has to do is give feedback and guidance - and she’s LOVING it!

While I’m handling the tech, she has the time to find new teachers who will help her take the business to the next level, and she can do that safe in the knowledge that the new site will be capable of growing with her.

The most powerful thing about this partnership is the level of trust. My client knows that I’m not just another gig worker who needs spoon-feeding every last detail, so she can simply trust me to get on with the work - and I know that the completion of my work plays a key role in her business growth, so I’ll get the feedback I need, when I need it, to keep the project moving forward.

This level of collaboration creates a dynamic where both of us can thrive, ultimately benefiting the dance school as a whole.

I guess it’s a bit like my clients are the music stars and I’m their agent!

For solo entrepreneurs, it often feels like nobody is in your corner. My clients don’t feel like that anymore. If you’d like someone you can trust in your corner, connect with me and let’s start a conversation!
